Jared Deubel is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under JT Torres, one of the sport's most respected competitors and instructors. His journey on the mats began over 13 years ago when he first started training under JT, and through years of consistent dedication, he developed both a deep technical understanding of Jiu-Jitsu and a strong passion for the art. Earning his black belt under JT Torres reflects not only his skill, but also the high level of lineage and instruction behind his training.

In addition to his BJJ foundation, Jared has trained extensively in Judo and wrestling, competing and placing in various events. This cross-training has sharpened his understanding of leverage, balance, and control, allowing him to bring a well-rounded grappling approach to his teaching. By blending elements of Judo and wrestling into his Jiu-Jitsu instruction, Jared offers a dynamic and effective system that benefits students of all levels.

Steve Braconi brings a championship pedigree to the Rival mats. A seasoned competitor, Steve has tested his game at the highest levels and now passes that hard-earned knowledge to the next generation of grapplers.
